2. Submit Information & Payment

Filling out all information as accurately as possible will assist in processing your case quickly and help you keep costs down. After you submit your information form, you will make your payment based on the option you chose.

The filing fee can be paid online or by check payable to Florida Simple Divorce in the amount of $421.00. If you decide to pay online, the fee for filing will be $432 (credit card processing fees). There are no hidden costs or fees. The only time there would be additional fees is if both parties decide they want changes made to the documents.

Please note that we do not file the action until we have received all the documents back and signed by both parties. We do that because people sometimes change their mind and decide to stay together or they change their mind and decide there are issues they want to contest. In either case we save you the filing fee of $408 by making sure everyone is in agreement before we proceed.

Pay $75 Redraft Fee Only

3. Review and Sign

Our goal is to have your documents drafted and sent to you within 48 hours of receiving your request and payment. We will do everything we can to complete this process as quickly and painlessly as possible for our clients to help ease or alleviate any additional stress. You will then have your spouse review and sign. After the documents are signed you will return them to us and we will see that they are filed and finalized.

The court is required to wait at least (20) twenty days after the documents are filed with the Clerk of Court to proceed.
